In early December, the International Board of the CGI met in Paris.
Arrived on the evening of December 2nd, the participants began to work on Sunday morning, with a program of presentations and discussions. In addition to the members of the International Board, two guests were present:

- Valdir MARQUES da SILVA, President of the Metropolitan Council of Curitiba, State of Paraná (Brazil) who presented the work of a Council managing 581 Conferences, more than 5,000 members and organizing more than 2,500 visits to families.
The first working day ended with the holy mass in the Church of the Trinity.

The next meeting of the Board will be held in February, just before the official visit of the President General to Africa.
Father Robert Maloney CM, Spiritual Advisor of the International General Council (not present at this meeting), sent a spiritual reflection on the theme "the 4 blessings of the Conference". In it are cited many passages of the report written in June 1834 by Ozanam and his companions on the early works of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul.
